Before normal service begins, just a small introduction about myself and the page.

I am currently a 1^st year university student born in England and lived close to Silverstone before going to study in Sheffield. Hence the name of the page with CMB referring to the Copse, Maggotts, Becketts complex which is the iconic section to the home of British motorsport. This is going to be a solely Formula 1 based page where I intend to post weekly articles whether that be race reviews, breaking season stories or taking a closer look at the sport. This is my first attempt at a blog so as the readership hopefully grows any comments or feedback would be welcome.

With testing currently in progress and the opening grand prix of the season in Melbourne less than a month away, an exciting season awaits with the follow up to last year’s extensive regulation changes. F1 CMB will be following the season as we see whether the Mercedes will still reign dominant or if the Red Bulls can mount a challenge to the title. Where will the McLaren Honda perform in the field as they reignite such an infamous Formula 1 partnership? Will Vettel’s move to Ferrari prove a success and can Daniel Ricciardo continue from a very impressive season at Red Bull where he became heralded by many as the best driver on the grid?

This all remains to be seen. But while we wait for the answers to the above questions to become clear I hope you enjoy the articles and thank you for your support.
